macOS Catalina

MarkStein Publisher Version 6.5 is fully compatible with macOS Catalina. Our software is running on macOS 10.12 to 10.15 and on Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10.

Linked Objects panel

We have added the Linked Objects panel. It displays all the images attched in your layout. You can attach the images again, jump directly to the image frame, or display the image file in the file system. The image information at the bottom can be hidden and you can switch between Thumbnail View and List View.

Pathfinder

The Pathfinder functions – Add, Subtract, Intersect and Exclude Overlap – now lead to real bezier shapes. The Stroke function, which converts a stroke into a form, can now also be applied to circles, ellipses and other bezier shapes. The Simplify Path an Reduce Points functions can be useful to reduce the complexity of a bezier shape. You will find all of the mentioned fuctions in the Object main menu.

The addition of rectangles and circles now results in real bezier shapes.

Bei der Funktion Konturlinie bleiben die Bezierformen erhalten. — The *Stroke* function preserves the bezier shapes.

Improvements

The new release improves the user interface, especially on the Mac. A bug has also been fixed that prevented some fonts from being displayed.
